The Delhi bench of the ITAT has held that where the specific limb has not been identified as to whether the charge is for concealment of income or furnishing of inaccurate particulars of income, the notice issued under Section 271(1)(c) is an omnibus notice, and failure to specify the limb of the notice renders the penalty proceedings invalid.
